Chief Executive Officer
Hauke Pane, born 1966, has had a strong bond with seafaring ever since he was a child. The qualified shipping manager initially underwent vocational training to become a ship mechanic, and he can look back on a number of years in active shipping, both as nautical and a technical officer. After spending many years in Hamburg and London working for Hamburg Süd, he built up MPC Münchmeyer Petersen Steamship as a managing director. Since 2006, Hauke Pane has been developing RHL as one of its founding partners, and has been Hamburger Lloyd’s managing director ever since day one.
Chief Financial Officer
As a fully trained bank clerk, Stefan Koleczko spent several years working as an international corporate account manager for a large German private bank. He then changed to the maritime sector and has been working in leading positions in Finance and Accounting ever since.
As from 2009, he has been responsible for the company’s finances as RHL’s Director of Finance & Accounting. Apart from financial accounting this includes the areas of controlling, cooperation with banks, as well as liquidity, currency and interest rate management.
After graduating as an engineer for ship operation in Hamburg in 2004, Burghart Schaade sailed as a nautical officer on container vessels in worldwide service. After obtaining his Master’s licence, he started working for Hamburger Lloyd, where he was first employed as marine engineer and later as Master on board various vessels. He later joined the office team as a nautical / technical superintendent.
In his new function as technical fleet manager he has been responsible for tank and container vessels since the beginning of 2017.
After studying Business Administration in Lüneburg and Sydney, Tina Treppke joined Wappen Reederei in 2006. After assignments in all of the company’s departments, she became Manager Insurance of Hamburger Lloyd in 2012. As such she is responsible for the entire fleet’s insurance status.
As Commercial Fleet Manager she has been responsible for tankers, container ships and bulk carriers since the beginning of 2017, while still in full charge of the insurance department.
Head of Chartering
After completing his vocational training as a qualified shipping manager and spending one year as an intern in London, Wolfgang Görz worked as a chartering broker for ten years. He then was in charge of the chartering department of a medium-sized shipping company, before becoming head of Chartering and Operations at Reederei Hamburger Lloyd in 2008. Here, he is one of the people responsible for the successful deployment of the entire fleet.
Head of Technical
Stefan Schindler has been working in connection with Germany’s merchant navy since 1996, first as a ship mechanic, and later – after graduating as an engineer for ship operation in Hamburg – also as a marine engineer and officer.
This was followed by assignments as newbuilding supervisor, and later as site office manager on shipyards in South Korea and Romania.
In 2008 he joined Hamburger Lloyd as a nautical/technical superintendent, and was responsible for container vessels and bulk carriers. During this time, he also worked as manager of our shipyard site offices in Shanghai/China for about three years.
From the beginning of 2017 he has been responsible for container ships and bulk carriers as technical fleet manager, while at the same time in charge of project management.
